Ep 12. Absolution

As a Nega Nebulus member, Silver Crow is still reeling from the weight of being chosen as one of its seven god candidates. Further complicating matters is the fact that the god candidates must compete in a fierce battle royale in order to become the powerful Chrome Disaster avatar.

In "Absolution," the twelfth episode of Accel World's first season, the story continues to ramp up the tension as Silver Crow becomes increasingly desperate to find a way out of the god candidate selection process. While some, like the enigmatic Cyan Pile, are sympathetic to Silver Crow's plight, others are not so understanding. The episode includes intense confrontations between Silver Crow and the other candidates.

Despite his misgivings, Silver Crow decides to participate in the upcoming battle royale, determined to prove his worth as a god candidate while also hoping to find a way to end the selection process once and for all. This leads to a series of intense battles and strategic maneuvers that culminate in an explosive finale that leaves the viewer eagerly awaiting the next installment.

In "Absolution," Accel World manages to deepen the show's mythology while also providing ample character development and thrilling action sequences. With its complex themes of power, friendship, and ambition, this episode is a standout example of what makes Accel World such a compelling and exciting anime series.
