Watch Baggage Battles

Baggage Battles is a Travel channel original series. This is a reality-style television show. Baggage Battles involves auction hunting and bidding wars. Each episode is approximately thirty minutes. Each episode of Baggage Battles takes place at a different airport and follows three different auction hunters. Each airport has a number of auctions to get rid of all the unclaimed luggage and freight left behind. Some of the items up for auction include clothing and jewelry. Other auctions have unclaimed freight which has included airplane parts and solar panels.

There are four different people that are followed in each episode - one couple, the Martins, a twenty-five-year-old auctioneer named Mark, and Billy, an owner of an antique and props store in New York City. All four travel to different airports and bid against each other in hopes of winning the lost baggage auctions.

Each episode takes you along through the process of checking out the merchandise before they bid on the unclaimed items. You watch the bidding war during the baggage auction. Then after the auction is over, you get to see what each group has won.

While going through their winnings, a counter is placed on the screen to show what the average is that they paid for the item and what they can expect to sell it for. In some cases the people have to take items to experts including jewelers and electricians to find out what it is they have and how much it is worth.

Some of the auction locations that they have traveled to for unclaimed baggage have been Europe and Canada. They have also traveled all over the United States. Continental locations include New Jersey, Indianapolis, Los Angeles and Arizona. Each episode showcases a new destination with different unclaimed bags and new treasures.
