In season 13 episode 13 of Bizarre Foods, host Andrew Zimmern travels to the Pacific Northwest to explore the unique food culture of the region. His first stop is in Seattle, where he tries a local favorite, geoduck, a large edible saltwater clam native to the area. From there, he heads to the Olympic Peninsula to learn about the traditional practices of the Makah tribe and tries a dish made with abalone, a prized sea snail.

Andrew then makes his way to Juneau, Alaska, where he meets up with a local chef to try some of the freshest seafood in the world. He samples a dish made with king crab, as well as a unique delicacy known as "gumboot chiton," or black snail.

Next, Andrew heads to British Columbia, Canada to explore the region's Asian fusion cuisine. He visits a restaurant in Vancouver that serves up a dish featuring bullfrog legs and eyeballs, which is a popular dish in Chinese culture. Andrew is hesitant at first, but ends up enjoying the dish along with a tasty bowl of noodles.

Finally, Andrew travels to Bellingham, Washington to meet with a group of fishermen who take him out on their boat to catch fresh sea urchin. He then gets a taste of the local cuisine at a nearby restaurant, where he samples several dishes made with the delicacy, including sea urchin chowder and uni sushi.

Throughout the episode, Andrew shares his appreciation for the unique food culture of the Pacific Northwest and the people who have dedicated their lives to preserving it.
