As a symbologist no case is particularly easy or mundane, but Robert Langdon is going to work on the case of a lifetime when a mysterious murder inside the fame Louvre points to a questioning of the very foundation of the Christian religions. Langdon is called in to take a look at a puzzle that was left in ink and blood following the murder of one who is believed to hold the "keystone". An albino monk, by the name of Sillas, is obsessed with the super secret and supernatural implications of the keystone that he is willing to kill to get it.

As Langdon begins to delve into the mystery behind the symbols left on the floor he begins to unearth truths, facts and notions that will rock the world entirely if ever found out. Forced to deal with the murder, the symbols, his own personal life, and the homicidal tendencies of Sillas. Langdon is in for a real ride of a job, but he happily accepts it and works hard to uncover the truth that lies just beneath the service.

Langdon finds himself on a chase through the city with nothing more than a few clues and a wild chase happening behind him. Langdon, however, finds out that things are even less as they appear when the very foundation of the people he's been working with begin to crumble; revealing the true murder, the true teach and everything in between.

The film is an adaption to the 2003 best selling book; "The Divinci Code" by Dan brown. The book was praised the world over for its quick wit, thorough research and enlightening questions on the very foundation of Christianity. The film was produced through 3004 and 2005 before being released in 2006 to critical acclaim. Tom Hanks played Langdon and did so with grace, ease and conviction.
