In the season finale of Big Crazy Family Adventure, the Roberge family continues their journey across Southeast Asia. Leg 8 takes them to Penang, Malaysia, where they explore the vibrant street art scene and learn about the city's history as a major trading port.

The family sets out on a unique mode of transportation - a miniature toy train that winds through the streets of Penang's historic district. They marvel at the colorful murals and intricate architecture as they chug along in the tiny cars.

After their train ride, the Roberges visit the famous Kek Lok Si Temple, one of the largest Buddhist temples in Southeast Asia. They climb the towering pagoda for a stunning view of the city below and join in a traditional prayer ceremony.

But their adventure takes a unexpected turn when 10-year-old twins Sierra and Bryce come down with a mysterious fever. The family rushes to a local clinic for medical attention, anxiously waiting for test results. While the children rest, parents Bruce and Tasha take their older daughter, 13-year-old Chloe, to see a different side of Penang - one that involves monkeys!

The family heads to the Penang Botanic Gardens, where they encounter a group of mischievous macaques that steal snacks and water bottles from unsuspecting tourists. Chloe gets up close and personal with the playful primates, learning about their behavior and social structure.

Back at the clinic, Sierra and Bryce's condition worsens, and the family faces a tense wait to find out the cause of their illness. As they cope with this unexpected setback, the Roberges reflect on the highs and lows of their epic journey.

Despite the challenges they've faced, the family has embraced every moment of their Big Crazy Family Adventure, from scaling mountains to swimming with sea turtles to exploring exotic cultures.
