Two years have passed since Nonoka Komiya has last seen Noel, the mysterious girl who came from the sky and gifted her with the power to make wishes come true. Since then, Nonoka has moved to another town and started a new life. Yet, as she is walking home one day, she sees a shooting star that leads her to a familiar face: Noel.

Noel has come back to Nonoka, bringing with her a new objective. She wants to see the saucer, the unique formation of eight stars that can only be seen from their hometown. Noel believes that by seeing the saucer, they can make Nonoka's wish— to find her missing mother— come true. However, the girls are not the only ones interested in this phenomenon.

Shione, Nonoka's childhood friend, is also looking for the saucer. However, her intentions are not as innocent as Noel's. Shione has been investigating the alleged supernatural events that revolve around the saucer, looking for answers that can only be found by witnessing it herself.
