When Bobby Blitz, the laser ball champion, breaks yet another record, he becomes the greatest athlete of his generation. But when laser ball fan Dex Hamilton notices a small slug attached to Bobby's neck, he knows Bobby is a fake! The Anabolic Tar Slug is a small insect known to attach themselves to a host, giving them increased speed, strength and aggressive behavior. But what Bobby doesn't know is that the Tar Slug will eventually overdose its host resulting in death - but Blitz isn't going to part with his abilities so easily!
