Ep 7. Mama Drama

Married to Medicine is a reality TV show which follows the personal and professional lives of a group of black, female doctors and wives of doctors in Atlanta, Georgia. In season 5 episode 7 titled "Mama Drama," the ladies are at it again with drama and confrontations.

First off, Quad and Toya are still at odds with each other. Quad invites the ladies over to her house to celebrate her dog's birthday, and Toya shows up with a gift that Quad deems as inappropriate. This kicks off a heated argument between them, and the other ladies end up taking sides.

Meanwhile, Heavenly goes to see her therapist to discuss her relationship with her mom. She reveals that her mother was absent in her life for most of her childhood, and now that she's trying to be a part of her life, Heavenly is having a hard time opening up to her. The therapist suggests that Heavenly write a letter to her mom expressing her emotions.

Later on, the ladies gather at a social event where Contessa's mom is the guest of honor. Contessa's mom is a retired doctor, and the ladies are impressed by her career accomplishments. However, things take a turn when Toya brings up Quad's dog's birthday party and their argument from earlier that day. Quad and Toya get into it again, and Contessa's mom tries to mediate the situation.

In another part of the event, Simone and Jackie discuss Heavenly's behavior towards Mariah. They both agree that Heavenly needs to apologize for spreading rumors about Mariah and her husband. They decide to confront Heavenly about it, but she doesn't take their criticism well.

Later on, the ladies gather for dinner at a restaurant, and the drama continues. Quad and Toya continue their argument from earlier, and Mariah gets involved by taking Toya's side. Heavenly is still upset about Simone and Jackie confronting her earlier, and she ends up storming out of the restaurant.

Overall, season 5 episode 7 of Married to Medicine is filled with drama and conflicts between the ladies. From Quad and Toya's ongoing feud to Heavenly's strained relationship with her mom, the ladies are dealing with a lot of emotional baggage. The constant bickering and confrontations make for entertaining TV, but it also highlights the complexities of female friendships.
