The sixth episode of the first season of Qwaser of Stigmata is entitled "The Princess' Egg." It begins with a group of students from the St. Mikhailov Academy discussing the upcoming quiz championship within the school. Sasha, our hero, is insistent on participating. He's sure that he'll be able to come out on top with his encyclopedic knowledge; he even suggests that girls from Miyuri's class should form a quiz group to participate and make some money.

Sasha's desire to participate in a quiz game seems like a foregone conclusion until Ekaterina Kurae, a young girl brought up in a wealthy family, enters the equation. Ekaterina approaches the group and asks for their help after they notice an egg that had fallen from her purse. The egg, she explains, is her "princess' egg," and she needs it back no matter what.

Mafuyu Oribe, a friend of Miyuri's who has a crush on Sasha, agrees to help her retrieve the egg, while Miyuri takes care of another matter. Ekaterina, on the other hand, tells Sasha to come to her mansion later that evening to lend his knowledge to her quiz team.

Meanwhile, in another area of the academy, Miyuri comes across one of the school's professors named Fumie Hiratsuka, who tells her about the history of St. Mikhailov's once-famous scholars. Fumie begins to tell a story about a boy-cum-genius who enrolled in the academy and soon became a topic of controversy, and before she can finish, Miyuri disappears.

When Sasha arrives at Ekaterina's mansion, he is greeted by her maid who leads him to Ekaterina's room. To Sasha's surprise, he finds out that he has to team up with two other wealthy young men, Gento Isayama and Kiyotada Inui, to participate in the quiz.

Their opponent, another young woman, boasts a remarkable knowledge of history and easily counters Sasha's all-encompassing knowledge of general trivia. Ekaterina is despondent while both Gento and Inui leave the match in disgust.

Nevertheless, Sasha's persistence lands him a win against their opponent, and Ekaterina is overjoyed. She realizes, though, that the egg has been stolen, and despite Sasha's protestations, she believes he knows more than he is letting on. Sasha agrees to solve the case and get her egg back.

The investigation that follows leads them to the professors' room where they intercept Fumie, who had just taken the egg from Miyuri. Through the use of Sasha's Alexandrite powers, the two have a running battle that ultimately ends with Fumie's defeat. Fumie explains that she had found another egg, once possessed by the famous scholar mentioned earlier in the story, which bore the same power as Ekaterina's egg, but it had turned out to be a fake. She had hoped that Ekaterina's egg would have the same powers to resurrect the school's fortunes.

When the egg is returned to Ekaterina, she is overjoyed. With this incident apparently behind them, she returns to her mansion, while Sasha and Miyuri go to Sasha's old room where they discuss what happened. Miyuri confesses her feelings for Sasha, and Sasha, unaware of how to respond, tells her to forget about it and get some rest.

In conclusion, Qwaser of Stigmata's "The Princess' Egg" is a relatively light episode that blends well with the show's typical action and ecchi themes. However, the episode serves as an important backdrop in Sasha's growth and development as a character, allowing us to see a more relatable and human side of him.
