Shuurei and Eigetsu set out on a mission to gather intelligence on the powerful Sa clan, with the help of Inori, a skilled thief. However, Inori has her own agenda and her loyalty is not guaranteed. Meanwhile, Seiran is still recuperating from injuries sustained during the assassination attempt, and Ryuuki is struggling with his feelings for Shuurei and his responsibilities as emperor. In an effort to cheer him up, Shuurei arranges for him to spend time with one of his childhood friends, but things don't go quite as planned.
