Ep 2. The Halfling Knight's March

In the second episode of Scrapped Princess season 1, titled "The Halfling Knight's March," we see Princess Pacifica and her siblings, Shannon and Raquel, continuing on their journey while being pursued by both the Peacemakers, who believe Pacifica is the Scrapped Princess and must be killed to prevent disaster, and the Church, who believe she is the prophesized savior and must be protected.

As they travel through the forest, they meet a halfling knight named Forsyth who is quick to join them on their journey. Forsyth has a bit of a complex about his height, as he is smaller than most knights, but makes up for it with his bravery and skill in battle.

The group soon comes across a village that is being terrorized by a band of thieves. Forsyth convinces the reluctant villagers to let him lead them into battle against the thieves, and they are successful in driving them off.

However, it is soon revealed that the thieves were actually hired by the Peacemakers as part of their plot to capture Pacifica. Forsyth is shocked and dismayed to learn that he inadvertently aided the very people who are hunting the princess.

As they continue their journey, the group comes across an abandoned mine that leads underground. Forsyth leads them through the twisting tunnels, but they soon realize they are being stalked by a mysterious creature. They manage to defeat the creature, but not before Shannon is injured in the battle.

Forsyth reveals that he used to be a soldier, but after being injured and deemed unfit for battle, he became a knight instead. He explains that he admires Pacifica's bravery and wishes he could be as courageous as she is.

The episode ends on a cliffhanger as the Peacemakers finally catch up to the group, leading to a chaotic battle in which the true identities of some characters are revealed. Will Pacifica and her siblings be able to fend off their attackers and continue on their journey? Only time will tell.
