Damaris and Rutledge also visit the Old Louisville Candy Kitchen, a 100-year-old candy shop that still uses traditional techniques to make its sweets. They get to see how various candies, including bourbon balls and chocolate turtles, are made.

Throughout the episode, Damaris and Rutledge showcase the unique characteristics of Southern comfort food and the passionate people who make it. They also highlight the importance of supporting local small businesses.
