Wings Season 2 Episode 16 Plane Nine From Nantucket

In "Plane Nine From Nantucket," the sixteenth episode of Wings' second season, the group is preparing for a big storm that's about to hit Nantucket. As they're getting ready, Helen reveals that she's having trouble with her boyfriend, Davis. Joe and Brian pressure her to make a decision about whether or not to break up with him, but Helen isn't sure what she wants to do.

Meanwhile, Fay meets a man named Sam over the CB radio and he comes to the airport to meet her. She's smitten, but is disappointed to learn that he's only interested in buying a plane. Later, Roy overhears Sam on the radio and realizes that he's a wanted criminal. He and Fay work together to trap him and turn him over to the police.

As the storm hits, Joe and Brian are left stranded on a plane with a group of misfits including a pregnant woman, a nervous flyer, and an obnoxious businessman. They try to keep everyone calm and entertained, but things take a turn for the worse when the plane starts to lose altitude. With no help from the ground, they have to come up with a solution to save the passengers and themselves.

Back at the airport, Antonio and Lowell get into a heated argument about who gets to stay in the break room during the storm. Antonio ultimately concedes, but discovers that the roof is leaking and the room is flooded. They're forced to seek shelter elsewhere and end up sleeping in a plane.

As the storm subsides, Davis realizes that he's been taking Helen for granted and tries to make amends. She agrees to give him another chance, but only if he changes his ways. The episode ends with everything returning to normal on Nantucket.
