Ep 17. A Lazy, Cowardly Princess

Akiba is home to the Round Table Alliance, the first real government of the world of Elder Tales. Shiroe, Naotsugu, and other members of the alliance, which includes a number of guilds, are seeking to find a way to adjust to life in the world of Elder Tales, where they are now trapped. They will have to find a way to support themselves and the other players who have become trapped in this virtual world.

In episode 17 of Log Horizon season 1, titled "A Lazy, Cowardly Princess," the Princess of the Eastal League, Lenessia Erhart Cowen, arrives in Akiba. She is seeking the aid of the guilds and round table alliance to help her save her land from the goblin invasion. She meets with the Shiroe and the other members of the alliance while Naotsugu and Marielle get set to entertain the Princess with a tour of Akiba.

As Shiroe listens to Lenessia's story, he realizes that the Princess is in a difficult spot. She is not a skilled fighter, and her people are in danger. He sees an opportunity to demonstrate the value of the Round Table Alliance to the people of the land, while at the same time ensuring the safety of the people and guilds in Akiba.

After a conversation with Naotsugu and Marielle, Shiroe comes up with a plan. He will use the Princess to negotiate a deal with the various guilds to supply troops and support. The Princess is hesitant, as she fears she will be seen as weak and unable to lead her people. Shiroe understands her fears, and convinces her that by working together they can build a strong alliance that will bring the various factions in this world together.

With the plan in place, Lenessia sets out with Naotsugu and Marielle to meet with the various guilds. They quickly find that building an alliance will not be easy. Some guilds are hesitant to commit their resources to helping others, while others are openly hostile to the very idea of working with other groups. Naotsugu and Marielle do their best to smooth things over, but the Princess' lack of experience in dealing with people makes things difficult.

Shiroe is still working behind the scenes, bargaining with guild leaders and offering his own support. He even manages to convince the powerful Adventurer Guild to supply forces to aid Lenessia's people. With each success, Lenessia gains more confidence in herself and her ability to lead. She learns to see her weakness as a strength, learning how to bring people together and move them to action.

As the negotiations continue, Lenessia's alliance begins to take shape. The Princess starts to see her role evolve from a pawn in political games to a leader for her people. However, there are still those who resist the forming alliance, and Lenessia will face difficult challenges ahead. But for the first time, she is no longer alone. With the support of the Round Table Alliance and the various guilds of the land, she is ready to do whatever it takes to save her people and her land.
