Ep 23. Meat is King

Adam Richman heads to Indianapolis, Indiana for the "Meat is King" challenge. He begins his journey at Claddagh Irish Pub, where he samples a variety of their famous bar food, including battered pickles and barbecue pulled pork. Next, Adam visits King David Dogs to try their massive Kilobyte Dog, weighing in at nearly a pound and topped with chili, cheese, and onions.

After these warm-up challenges, Adam heads to the main event at St. Elmo Steak House. Here, he takes on the famous 32 oz. Porterhouse steak, along with a side of shrimp cocktail and a loaded baked potato. The shrimp cocktail comes with a spicy horseradish sauce that is so intense, it has been known to make diners cry.

Adam also gets a tour of St. Elmo's famous shrimp cocktail sauce factory, where he learns about the history of the restaurant and their signature sauce. Finally, it's time for the big challenge. Adam has just one hour to finish the massive Porterhouse steak, along with the sides.

Throughout the challenge, Adam shows off his impressive eating skills and discusses his strategies for tackling such a large meal. He also takes breaks to chat with the staff and other diners, learning more about the history and culture of St. Elmo Steak House and the city of Indianapolis.

As the clock ticks down, tensions rise and Adam struggles to finish the final bites of the steak and the loaded baked potato. Will he be able to complete the challenge and earn a spot on the restaurant's hall of fame? Tune in to find out!
