In the fifth season of Bizarre Foods, the show brings a unique twist by dedicating an entire episode to kids on their culinary adventure. Host Andrew Zimmern travels around the world to explore some of the most unusual and surprising dishes that kids are eating.

The episode starts with Andrew Zimmern visiting a kindergarten classroom in Japan where he is introduced to the art of Bento boxes. He is fascinated with the way meals are arranged in such a beautiful and appetizing way for kids. From fish-shaped rice balls to miniature octopus hotdogs, the Bento boxes are not only delicious but also a piece of art.

Next, Zimmern travels to Zambia, where he meets a young chef named Kanta, who shows him how to make nshima, a traditional cornmeal dish served with vegetables and meat. Watching Kanta, it's incredible to see how young children in Zambia learn how to cook. They start at a young age, and by the time they are teenagers, they can cook a full meal for their family.

The next stop is in Australia, where Andrew visits a family farm and tries kangaroo meat. It’s a common dish in Australia but may come as a surprise to the rest of the world. The host learns how to make a kangaroo burger, which tastes similar to beef but with a game-y flavor. The family also shows him how to make damper bread, a traditional bread made from flour, water, and salt that is cooked in the ashes of a campfire. It’s a simple yet delicious dish that is perfect for kids to make with their parents while camping.

After Australia, the show travels to the United States, where Andrew visits a farm in Florida to learn about alligator meat. Not only does he learn about how to prepare alligator, but he also has the chance to hold a baby alligator. The farm owner, who has been raising alligators since he was eight years old, tells Zimmern how to cook the meat to perfection. Andrew tries alligator tail, which tastes more like chicken than beef or pork. The farm gives visitors the chance to learn about alligator meat and try it for themselves, which Zimmern highly recommends.

Finally, the show makes its way to France, where Andrew visits Chef Philippe Etchebest's cooking school for kids. In France, it is expected that children learn how to cook from a young age. At the school, young chefs learn how to make traditional French dishes with a twist. Andrew helps the kids make a dish called galette, which is a thin pancake made from buckwheat flour, filled with cheese and ham. It's a perfect dish for kids to make at home with their parents and has a unique flavor that will make everyone happy.

For the Kids' special episode of Bizarre Foods, it's been an educational and entertaining journey around the world. Andrew Zimmern has explored some of the most unusual dishes that kids love and savory delights that they cook. The episode not only highlights the culinary traditions of different countries but also educates viewers about unique foods that they may not have heard about before.
