Andrew Zimmern travels south to Miami in search of the city's unique blend of cultures and cuisines. He starts with a visit to Little Havana, where he samples traditional Cuban dishes like ropa vieja and lechon asado. Next, he heads to a Venezuelan arepa stand and tries different variations of the stuffed corn pockets. Andrew then explores the seafood scene in Miami, visiting a fish market and trying a variety of fresh catches like conch fritters and Caribbean spiny lobster. Moving on to the Haitian neighborhood of Little Haiti, Andrew discovers a variety of flavorful dishes, including griot (fried pork) and pikliz (spicy pickled vegetables). He also gets a taste of the French-influenced cuisine in Miami at a rustic bistro, where he tries dishes like escargot and ratatouille. Andrew's final stop is in the Wynwood Arts District, where he visits a food hall and tries innovative dishes like a guava and cream cheese empanada and a smoked fish dip. Along the way, Andrew meets chefs and food vendors who share their stories and traditions, making for a delicious and culturally rich episode.
