However, the British soldiers overwhelm the Americans, forcing them to retreat and abandon the hill. The episode ends with Sarah and James reflecting on the bravery and sacrifice of these American soldiers and their willingness to stand up for their beliefs and their country.

Throughout the episode, viewers can see the progression of the war and the role of the press in informing the public. Dr. Warren, who is a physician and member of the Sons of Liberty, stresses the importance of spreading news and information about events happening in the colonies. Henri, who is a spy for Lafayette, learns how to print a political cartoon and help spread the word about the battle.
