Rin-ne season 1 episode 24, titled "Spirited Ramen," follows the usual antics of Rinne Rokudo, a high school student who can see and interact with ghosts, and his fellow spirit medium, Sakura Mamiya.

The episode begins with Rinne's father, Sabato Rokudo, making a surprise visit to Rinne's school. Sabato is a notorious money-grabber who has been absent from Rinne's life for many years, so Rinne is understandably suspicious of his father's sudden appearance. Sabato insists on taking Rinne to a fancy restaurant for lunch, but Rinne is hesitant to trust his father and worries that he will be forced to pay the exorbitant bill.

Meanwhile, Sakura is working at her family's ramen shop when she senses a ghostly presence. She investigates and finds a ghost who claims to be the former owner of the ramen shop. The ghost is upset that the ramen recipe has changed since his time, and he wants to taste the original recipe one last time.

Sakura offers to help the ghost by recreating the original recipe, but she soon realizes that it's impossible without a crucial ingredient: a rare, expensive type of mushroom. Sakura doesn't have the money to buy the mushroom, so Rinne offers to help by using his supernatural abilities to track down the mushroom and sell it to a collector.

Rinne and Sakura set off on their mushroom-hunting mission, but Sabato tags along, claiming that he wants to help. Rinne is suspicious of his father's motives, but he doesn't have much of a choice. They find the mushroom but are ambushed by a group of rogue spirit mediums who want to steal the mushroom for themselves.

The spirit mediums attack Rinne and his friends, but Rinne is able to fend them off with his scythe. However, Sabato reveals that he was actually working with the rogue spirit mediums all along, and they plan to sell the mushroom for an even higher price than Rinne had intended. Rinne is furious at his father's betrayal and is ready to fight, but Sakura stops him and suggests that they use their brains instead of brawn.

Sakura comes up with a plan to trick Sabato and the rogue spirit mediums into thinking that the mushroom has been destroyed. They create a fake mushroom using an ordinary mushroom and some special effects, and they make it look like Rinne accidentally crushed it. The rogue spirit mediums fall for the ruse and leave, thinking that the mushroom is lost forever.

Rinne and Sakura return to the ramen shop with the real mushroom and use it to make the original recipe for the ghost. The ghost tastes the ramen and is overjoyed that he can finally move on to the afterlife. Rinne and Sakura are happy to have helped a ghost, but they are also glad to be rid of Sabato. Rinne leaves his father behind and returns to school with Sakura, thankful for her friendship and trusting her more than ever.

Overall, "Spirited Ramen" is a fun and lighthearted episode that showcases Rinne's wit and resourcefulness. The dynamic between Rinne and Sakura is as charming as ever, and the addition of Sabato adds an extra layer of tension and drama. The episode also serves as a reminder that even ghosts have their own wants and needs, and it's up to spirit mediums like Rinne and Sakura to help them pass on peacefully.
