Ep 20. Goat Tell It on the Mountain

As the eleventh season of the hit reality series Storage Wars winds down, the latest episode, titled "Goat Tell It on the Mountain," sees our favorite treasure hunters descend upon an auction in the heart of California.

Following the regular cast of auctioneers and buyers who have become fan favorites over the series' 11-season run, we see them as they gather at the facility and start to sift through the units that are up for grabs. As always, there is a risk that they could end up with nothing of worth. But with a potential big payoff looming, tempers are always high.

Throughout it all, the auctioneer Dan has his hands full keeping this diverse and often conflicted cast in line. And there is always the looming threat of another buyer from outside the core group showing up and throwing a wrench into the proceedings.

Despite the tensions that stretch through this episode, some of the highlights come from the eclectic personalities of the cast. We see Mary picking up a mandolin, leading her to burst into a catchy tune and dance amongst the storage units. Meanwhile, Rene can't resist showboating as he carries an enormous stuffed gorilla around the auction floor.

By the end of "Goat Tell It on the Mountain," we're left with a distinct sense that the world of storage unit auctions is no place for the faint of heart. As we've seen throughout the season, the chance to strike it big is always just around the corner, but it requires a lot of work, persistence and, often, even a little bit of luck.

While many reality series in the genre have lost their edge by now, the team behind Storage Wars have ensured that the series remains fresh and exciting. This episode is a prime example of the show's ability to keep viewers on the edges of their seats.
