In Storage Wars season 2 episode 10, titled "Land of the Lost", the buyers are in Fontana, California for an auction at the abandoned Homestead Hotel. The buyers are excited to see what treasures they can find in the abandoned storage units.
The first unit up for auction is a large one, but the buyers are hesitant to bid too high since they can't see much inside. Darrell and Brandon take a chance and win the unit for $2,300. Inside, they find some old suitcases and what appears to be a vintage record player. They are excited when they discover that the record player is worth around $2,000.
The next unit up for auction belongs to a collector named Jack. He's known for hoarding items, and the buyers are curious to see what he's collected over the years. Ivy and Dave go back and forth in the bidding, but Ivy ultimately wins the unit for $1,600. Inside, they find an antique slot machine and several old radios. They are surprised to learn that the slot machine is worth around $1,500, making it a great find.
Jarrod and Brandi are excited to bid on the next unit, which belongs to a rock collector. They win the unit for $1,300 and are thrilled when they see what's inside. The unit is filled with large rocks and minerals, including some rare specimens. They are amazed to find that some of the rocks are worth thousands of dollars.
The final unit up for auction is a small one, but the buyers are still eager to see what's inside. Darrell and Brandon win the unit for $300 and are disappointed to find that it mostly contains old VHS tapes. However, they do find some vintage Nintendo games that could be worth a lot of money.
Overall, the buyers are happy with their finds at the Homestead Hotel auction. They've proven once again that there are treasures to be found in old storage units, even in seemingly unremarkable locations.
