Ep 3. Pay the Lady

In season 2 episode 3 of Storage Wars, titled "Pay the Lady," the heat is on as the bidders try to outdo each other in pursuit of valuable storage units. The second unit up for bid is a mystery box, which Dave snags for $200. However, his gloating is short-lived as he discovers the box is mostly filled with trash. The third unit contains a vintage Coca-Cola machine, which Darrell wins for $600.

The fourth unit is a big one, and tension runs high as the bidders eye each other warily. Dave and Darrell are the primary contenders, but the unit eventually goes to Barry for $3,200. However, when he starts to sort through the boxes, he realizes that the unit may be a dud- or even a trap.

Finally, the last unit up for bid is the most highly coveted one. It's packed full of furniture, appliances, and other household items, and the bidding war quickly escalates. Dave and Darrell are the most aggressive bidders, and their rivalry reaches a peak when Dave demands Darrell "pay the lady" and stop raising the price.

Despite their animosity, the bidding ends up going to Darrell, who pays a whopping $3,600 for the unit. However, when he starts going through its contents, he realizes that he may have overpaid for a unit that contains mostly junk.
