Ep 2. The Hills Have Buys

As the fifth season of Storage Wars continues, the cast of characters is back at it again bidding on abandoned storage lockers in the hopes of making a big score. In episode 2, entitled "The Hills Have Buys," the auction action takes place in Simi Valley, California.

The episode starts with the five main buyers - Darrell Sheets, Jarrod Schulz and Brandi Passante, Dave Hester, and Barry Weiss - all taking a look at their potential loot for the day. The first locker up for auction is a bit of a dud, with nothing of much value inside. But things start to heat up when a locker containing a number of outdoor adventure items comes up for bid.

Brandi and Jarrod quickly take an interest in the locker, which contains items like a kayak, camping gear, and fishing equipment. Darrell and Dave are both keen on this locker, and the bidding quickly escalates as they try to outdo each other. The prices climb higher and higher, until Darrell finally wins the locker for a whopping $4,500. It's a huge risk, but Darrell is sure that there's some great stuff hidden among all of the seemingly random items inside.

The final locker up for auction in this episode is one that makes everyone sit up and take notice. It's a massive unit filled with all kinds of strange and unusual items - everything from animal skulls to vintage pinball machines to a full-sized suit of armor. Barry is immediately intrigued by the locker, and starts bidding against the other buyers with gusto.

As the prices climb higher and higher, it becomes clear that this is going to be a serious battle. Dave and Darrell both try to outbid Barry, but he seems to have his heart set on this locker and won't be denied. In the end, the locker goes to Barry for an enormous $15,000, which is one of the highest prices ever paid on Storage Wars. He's thrilled with his purchase, and can't wait to start uncovering all of the hidden treasures inside.
