Ep 3. Lucy, the Bean Queen

In this episode, Lucy's neighbor Harry sends her a large bag of beans from his farm. Lucy decides to cook them and starts soaking them in water. However, she forgets about them and the beans expand, causing the pot to overflow and the kitchen to be flooded.

Lucy tries to clean up the mess, but ends up causing more chaos. Her landlord, Mr. Barnsdahl, comes in to check on the apartment and sees the mess. He tells Lucy that she needs to clean it up, but Lucy realizes that she doesn't have the money to pay for the damage.

To make matters worse, Harry shows up to take Lucy to the Bean Queen contest at the county fair and sees the mess. Lucy tries to hide it from him, but he finds out and gets angry.

At the fair, Lucy competes in the Bean Queen contest with some hilarious mishaps along the way. She accidentally throws beans at the judges and then gets her dress caught in a fan, exposing her underclothes. Despite this, she wins the contest and is named the Bean Queen.

Back at home, Lucy realizes that she can use the prize money to pay for the damage to the apartment. She tells Harry that she won and he forgives her for the mess in the kitchen.
