Pushing Daisies is a unique and whimsical dramedy that aired on ABC from 2007 to 2009. The show revolves around Ned (played by Lee Pace), a pie-maker with a special ability to bring dead people back to life with a single touch. However, there is a catch – if he ever touches them again, they will die permanently.

Ned uses his powers to help solve murders with the help of his childhood sweetheart, Charlotte "Chuck" Charles (played by Anna Friel), whom he resurrects after she is murdered. Meanwhile, Ned also runs his own pie shop and tries to keep his powers a secret from the world at large.

One of Ned's closest confidants is Emerson Cod (played by Chi McBride), a private investigator who quickly becomes the most hot-headed and humorous character on the show. Together, Ned, Chuck, and Emerson investigate various murders in their town and bring the culprits to justice.

In addition to the main trio, viewers are introduced to a colorful cast of recurring characters, including Olive Snook (played by Kristin Chenoweth), Ned's cheery but unlucky-in-love waitress, and Lily Charles (played by Swoosie Kurtz), Chuck's eccentric and overprotective aunt.

Pushing Daisies is known for its unique visual style, combining bright colors, imaginative sets, and quirky costumes. The show has a fairy tale-like quality to it and often includes whimsical elements like a traveling group of synchronized-swimming nuns, a woman who lives in a giant plastic bubble, and a gang of Norwegian detectives who communicate only through interpretive dance.

The show's humor is a mix of deadpan one-liners and physical comedy, blending together to create a distinct comedic voice. Each episode features a new murder to solve, but in addition to that, the show also explores themes of love, loss, and the consequences of bringing the dead back to life.

Overall, Pushing Daisies is an offbeat and charming series that will take you on a journey through a world unlike any other. It's a show that will leave you laughing, crying, and constantly amazed by its creativity and originality.

Pushing Daisies is a series that is currently running and has 2 seasons (22 episodes). The series first aired on October 3, 2007.
