Watch Aliens in America (2015)

The Tolchuck family is just your average group of Midwestern Americans, their lives are completely normal in every way. Things get shaken up when the patriarch of the family decides to take in a Muslim foreign exchange student named Raja. The son of the family struggles with being labeled a dork at school and hopes that his new housemate will increase his popularity. Meanwhile, the high school aged sister could care less about the major change in their family and is more concerned with becoming prom queen. Finally, the mother is concerned about the newcomer based solely on the stereotypes she hears about Middle Eastern People.

Thankfully, Raja is a happy kid who is thrilled to be visiting a new country and make new friends. Comedic situations arise as the family adjusts to having a fifth member. The three teenagers experience growing pains including trouble at school, getting grounded, and, of course, many awkward situations.
