Exercise instructor Leslie Sansone has earned acclaim for her series of Walk Away the Pounds videos, which teach viewers how to walk, kick and jog in place in order to burn away calories. The High Calorie Burn 2 Mile Walk builds up to a vigorous workout intended to help participants lose fat and build muscle. Movements include vigorous stepping in place, and also periodic kicks forward and backwards. During the winding down walk, the exercisers use a "stretch band" to also exercise arm muscles. The program expects viewers to participate in the walks on a frequent basis to build endurance.
