Artrageous with Nate is a series started by Nate Heck geared towards elementary and middle school age children that teaches them about art, science, and history. Nate Heck started this movement in 2010 in response to the dwindling budget for art programs in schools. His goal is not necessarily to create artists out of his students but to teach the creative thought process that can span the bridge between the sciences, math, and other subjects.

Nate Heck has been an art educator for thirteen years. He is passionate about teaching children to use their brains to solve a problem, but maybe not in the traditional way.

Artrageous with Nate's first episode is called Splat and talks about Pollack and paint viscosity. It is at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. That right there makes a watcher just to see some of the museum. His second episode deals with Dale Chihuly and how glass blowing is done. The third episode focuses on Seurat and his movement called Pointillism. Pointillism is were a series of dots becomes a picture when viewed from a distance. All the series so far guides a child to make his or her own art project.
