Awesomeness TV Awesomeness TV is one of the most popular shows that’s on TV for kids these days. With the constant battle between Nickelodeon and Disney channel to have the better shows, this one is a tally in the Nickelodeon category. Awesomeness TV is an American sketch show that’s presented by Nickelodeon for a kid friendly audience. It was originally a YouTube channel by the same name, but was picked up and turned into a full television show by Brian Robbins. It’s currently in its second season and has 38 episodes in total so far. It’s only airing on Nick in the United States as of right now.
All of the actors and actresses that are in the show are the ones from the multi-channel network YouTube account, except the presenter, Daniella Monet who is a Nickelodeon veteran who also starred in Victorious. Names like Teala Dunn, Lia Marie Johnson, Austin Mahone, Audrey Whitby and more are all YouTube veterans.
The plot of the show is, like mentioned before, being hosted by actress Daniella Monet. Throughout the thirty minute episodes, she presents to the audience music videos, sketches and antics filmed on hidden cameras. Sometimes, celebrities that are big with the younger crowd even come on to host episodes (i.e. Austin Mahone).
With the wide variety of sketches shown, it appeals to a large audience and age gap as well, entertaining and drawing in kids from ages 8 to even adults in their 20's.
