Border Entertainment is a United States production company that specializes in television programming and independent films. The company was started in 2004 when two graduates of the University of Missouri created a film called "Tiger's Breath." When the film went on to win numerous awards and receive critical acclaim at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas later that year, the duo decided to form a a complete media channel that would cater to the audience's need of groundbreaking films and in-depth tv coverage.

Since that time, Border Entertainment has grown to include a number of affiliate channels throughout the United States. Shows include: "Jasper's Talk," "Film Crew: Behind the Scenes," and "Wild Boyz." The television programming is available on Youtube, iTunes, and on certain cable television packages.

The independent films that the company have produced incude "Tucker's Ride," "Lone Wolf," and "Texas Sun." Texas Sun is the most recent, and features a young boy who has lost his father in the midst of a gas explosion at an oil rig off of the coast of Houston. After 3 days of no food or water, as well as fighting off coyotes, the young boy finds an abandoned house. He builds himself a shelter and begins trapping rabbits and other small game to survive. The film contains a climactic ending that has come to establish a reputation for Border Entertainment as a thought-provoking, proactive company that is poised to disrupt the traditional film world. The company's films will also be present at Cannes in 2015.
