Brushfire records is a child of Hawaii, having been born in a studio in that state in 2002. Jack Jackson and Emmett Malloy came together to form their own record label. They simply decided that it was time for them to branch out and form their own path. In doing so, this company was formed.
The label was formed and soon they were able to release music from their surf films out for the whole world to enjoy. It was quite an experience. The label also gave these two the opportunity to connect with others who shared their same passion for music and had the same ideas about how it should be done.
It is not typical for two artists to find such success so early, but these two are a cut above the rest in a lot of ways. They are certainly great at promoting themselves and their brand of music. They stop at nothing to make sure that as many people as possible are able to hear the tunes that they are so proud of having worked on.
Brushfire is now located in Los Angeles and has been going strong for greater than ten years now. It was the little record label that no one expected to be able to do much, but suddenly they came around and started producing something that was different from the mainstream. People started to fall in love with what they were doing, and the rest is history. It is a true success story that could not have been accomplished without the dedication of the men behind it.
