However, on this journey they will not be alone for they will be guided along the path.
Butterscotch's Playground helps children learn in an exciting and fun way. Each learning episode begins the same way, with developer Greg Page, the familiar welcoming face the viewers immediately identify with as he speaks to them. This familiar dialogue allows viewers to feel comfortable and eager to begin learning.
Part of the learning is avoiding the way certain words are characterized such as all, you, us, we, and as, which help to curb and egocentric attitude. This allows the child to be part of the equation, not an outsider looking in.
This style of learning is 100% interactive; for example, the characters will ask the viewers to help find Frankie Bananas, one of the characters who is always last to reveal himself.
