Canal 13 is truly an innovative TV channel in the country of Chile. Channel 13 was at one time called Universidad Católica de Chile Televisión and it was the one of the oldest television stations in the entire country of Chile. Channel 13 has maintained its innovation throughout time and it has produced and emitted programs that reflect its leadership, vision, and entertainment to a very high level.
Channel 13 first had its transmission in 1959 and there have been many positive changes since then. Starting in November 2010 channel 13 had a change of ownership and is owned 67% by Luksic Group and 33% Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
