The online channel tackles a variety of topics just like its namesake including the latest trending stories in the collective conversation. It is not unusual to see the hottest political decision makers, celebrity, activists for a variety of causes, inventors and more sitting on the infamous couch. The setting is a breath of fresh air in the sense of having a living room with a bookcase in the center of an office teaming with activity.
The trending stories banner across the top of the page includes the latest uproar in Washington D.C. to the 2016 campaign trail. For example, stories entitled ‘2016: Year Of The Black Conservation?’ discussing the presidential run Ben Carson to ‘Free My Ferret’, which is a review of New York City’s ban on the ferret. There is a second area on the bottom portion of the website with past stories which can be accessed with the click of a button.
