Plan B has a legacy that can be traced back to Mike Ternasky in 1991, who had a dream, a team, and the skills to make his pipe dream a reality. The dream took off after the release of the "Unquestionable" skate video. Although shot on a cheap handheld camera, the video was a primary force in helping to bring skateboarding into mainstream culture and is regarded as one of the greatest skating videos ever made. After "Unquestionable" countless young skateboarders spent what little they had to buy cameras and to make their own skate videos. This spark ignited skateboarding culture into the mainstream, yet cult culture art that it has become today.
After the tragic death of Mike Ternasky, Plan B's founder, the Plan B team was devastated but couldn't give up their dream. Founding members Danny Way and Colin McKay (now highly regarded skate legends) took the reigns and continued forming Plan B into the skateboard mogul it is today. Plan B sells boards, wheels, hardware, complete skateboards, apparel, and signature series decks from the Plan B team, among other products. The easily recognizable Plan B logo can be seen slapped on halfpipes and ramps in public skate parks all across the country: a testament to the Plan B legacy.
