Watch TV Shows on Satelight

Satelight is an international media channel based in Bern, Switzerland. It was founded in 2001 by a Swiss chemist by the name of Hans Schiller. He was working in a lab and decided that the scientific experiments that were taking place behind closed doors should be made available to the public. He proceeded to receive investments to start a production company. The company soon hired more chemists, actors, directors, and a team of writers in order to produce original content that would intrigue audiences about the realities of science in the 21st century. It started by only distributing digital content throughout Europe in German and French. Now, it has expanded to include Italian and English translations.

The nature of the content is primarily truthful, though fictional shows also get produced in order to capture the younger viewers' attention and interest them in science at a young age. The company announced a partnership with Disney in 2013 that will provide for advertisements throughout American television broadcasts.

Current shows include Science of the Mind and Michael's Chemistry Set. Science of the Mind is a real life show that follows important scientists throughout their work on a daily basis. It shows the audience the intense processes that organizations must go through to produce high quality merchandise and medicines. Michael's Chemistry Set is a show that is animated with digital computer graphics. It is fictional and depicts that life of a young boy as he explores the realm of science and creativity from his bedroom.
