Photo intro with the ride highlight video starting @ 2:20 . The Torch Ride is an annual event during Arizona Bike Week in the Phoenix area. Sponsored by Chester's Harley-Davidson on Saturday morning, it benefits the Special Olympics of Arizona and is the largest police escorted ride of the year. The 2008 edition included more than 2,200 motorcycles stretching over 10 miles enjoying in the scenic views from Mesa to Fountain Hills to Scotsdale's Westworld with their fellow brothers of the wind for a fun 1 1/2 hour excursion. azbikeweek.com bikerornot.com/shelby2ca
